About invterms
We believe everyone deserves access to clear, trustworthy financial education — free from jargon and financial barriers.
Making Financial Knowledge Accessible
invterms was founded with a single purpose: to give every person — from first-time savers to seasoned professionals — a reliable, plain-language reference for investment and financial terminology.
We saw a gap in the market. Most financial glossaries were either buried in dense textbooks, hidden behind paywalls, or written in language only experts could understand. We set out to change that.
Today, invterms hosts hundreds of carefully researched definitions across six topic areas, along with structured learning guides available to everyone at no cost. All content is provided strictly for informational and educational purposes. We are not a financial advisor, and nothing on this site constitutes investment advice.
Our Core Values
These principles guide everything we do — from how we write definitions to how we interact with our community.
Accuracy First
Every definition is researched against reputable financial sources and reviewed for factual accuracy. We update our content regularly to reflect current market terminology.
Accessibility for All
Financial literacy should not be a privilege. We write in plain English, avoid unnecessary jargon, and ensure our platform is accessible across all devices.
Transparency
We are clear about what we are and what we are not. invterms is a reference tool — not a financial advisor, broker, or paid service of any kind.
Continuous Improvement
Markets evolve, and so do we. We regularly expand our library, refine our explanations, and add new learning resources to stay current and relevant.
